What size light bulb to put in the tiny light fixture? Looks like an ordinary Christmas bulb would work but how high a wattage can that little fixture take? Do you sell the bulbs? This is a glowing color of amber/ warm gold that brightens up my laundry room. I do not ever turn it off, that’s how much i enjoy it! My laundry room stays dark (because there’s no natural light or windows near by), but this lantern imparts the most seductive vibe to my laundry area/ hallway; it’s a very enjoyable part of my house now. Arrived in perfect condition though bending it into the shape is very difficult. Find a steady grip and resistant surface so it doesn't go sliding off underneath your hands. I followed the instructions but as much I tried I couldn't get it to form then even lantern shape- adjusting and whatnot as it said. It's only a litlle lopsided because the top ring dips but I hung that portion away from the eye line so it looks beautiful, can't complain.

I dont know what kind of lightbulb fixture to use for this, can someone help me?? The standard bulb fixtures that people purchase with these types of lanters is too big to fit in the opening in the top. You cannot fit even very small fixtures into this, so I have no idea how to light it....except for stuffing battery powered xmas lights in it, which are pretty dim. I want to plug this into a fixture with a bulb, but I just have no idea where to find a fixture small enough to fit in this. And I have searched the internet for over an hour and I cannot find anything small enough!!! I find bulbs small enough, but not fixtures.

Flawless condition on arrival; beautiful accent lighting. Beautiful, looks even nicer than in the picture. Item arrived in perfect condition, and a very nice accent to our living room. As the shade material is cloth and not paper, like the cheaper ones, I expect this will last for years and years, and still look beautiful. An important note about paper lanterns; the paper shade soon gets so fragile that you can't relocate, store, or even dust them without risk of destroying the paper. That is not the case with these lanterns. For us, the durability is well worth the price difference!

I really like those lanterns. The fabric's patterns are quite detailed. As for them not staying in shape, as pointed out by other customers, I think they might be something wrong. I have two of these and both of them stay in perfect shape. The upper ring is made of wood and there are two brackets that are under quite a bit of tension that you need to push underneath that wooden ring. You need to be gentle when doing so, but you need to put the metal piece in place firmly. I have have used the same of these lanterns indoors for years, they have survived several moves and have not changed a single bit, and have never spontaneous collapsed. They are actually so sturdy and firmly in place that collapsing them takes a bit of an effort. You actually really have to be _intentional_ when collapsing them or the wood would rather break than them collapsing by themselves. They are amazing. Just be sure you have the right technique to unfold them. If that is all that was amiss in some of the other reviews then giving these one or two stars is pretty harsh ... The picture I have added is from my apartment. There, they are already two years old.

The one that arrived here was broken, and opened up lopsided. I kept it because I like the colors in my apartment, however, if you want the full effect, all I can say is you will pay more. It makes a great curtain ornmament. Other than that, well, you know.

Real Deal. Being somewhat skeptical when I ordered this item, I was very very pleased when it arrived a few days later. The quality of this lantern is like none other. I've owned these in the past and they were always flimsy and cheap. Can't say that about this lantern. It is silk and it appears to be very durable. The picture is close to what it looks like but the real lantern is much more vivid in color. Made in Vietnam does not mean cheap merchandise. This is a quality item and I highly recommend it if you want authentic items for your home. I will be ordering more in the near future!
